The Merkur 47C Safety Razor is a model with the safety bar head of the same type as the 34C model but with the difference of having a 3 piece opening and a longer handle.
The inclination obtained by the head of this razor will therefore return a very comfortable shave for all types of beards and specifically it is highly recommended for sensitive skin and as a first safety razor.
3-piece opening refers to the disassembly method for inserting the blade: by unscrewing the head from the handle of the shaver, it divides into two and inserts the shaving blade.
The handle has a linear decoration that makes the grip of the Merkur 47C comfortable and safe even with wet hands during shaving operations.
