The materials used to build the Green Beret 7 "are the ones identified by Chris Reeve Knives: CPM-S35VN steel and Micarta Black Canvas handle The special color of the steel is given by the extremely resistant KG Gun-Kote treatment (also used for the weapons).

The Micarta handle allows, in addition to achieving ergonomics and comfort in excellent use, to be used without problems in many conditions, even extreme ones thanks to its resistance to water and atmospheric agents.
